Please share your thoughts on the factors impacting health seeking behavior among the older population.

Health seeking behavior of the elderly living in the slums of Assam was assessed. It was reported lack of funds, self-medication, and living arrangements had a substantial impact on their health-seeking behavior. Emphasis should be on Inexpensive healthcare and strategic implementation of policies that focus on the challenges and beliefs that impede slum-dwelling older people from obtaining healthcare.
