It includes 12 key axes like occupation, education, and employment conditions, helping improve data collection and survey consistency. Field Epidemiology Training Programs to accelerate public health workforce development and global health security

The Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) has built a global network of disease detectives, strengthening public health systems in over 80 countries. By combining hands-on training with mentorship, FETPs enhance outbreak response, surveillance, and health security. A new global roadmap aims to institutionalize and modernize FETPs for long-term sustainability and impact.
